Question: What will the future student computer look like?
Answer: There is no telling for sure what the future computer for students will look like or the endless operations that it will be able to do - but, it will be smaller and lighter. I believe the speed will be faster because we live in a world of instant gratification and computers will have to keep up with us. Wireless Internet access is a must because the today student is always on the go. Virtual reality and gaming will be clearer and a touch screen will make it faster game. Every year computer companies come out with a new and improved computer, which allows the possibilities to be endless.
It amazing to think about what it could be like for future students and how even in recent years things have advanced so rapidly. The possibilities truly are endless and its exciting that we will be a part of helping students become skilled and fluent at using it.
ReplyDeleteI think your predictions are pretty accurate. I agree that computers will be lighter and smaller. I also think that eventually all computers will have touch screens. Registers at many retailers and many cell phones already have touch screens. I agree that graphics will be clearer as well.
ReplyDeleteI think students future computers may be utilized for homework and/or school work assignemtns. Students can post assignments or even email them directly to their teachers. Students like being mobile and seem to always be on the go. This type of technology would benefit students greatly.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that the technology of tomorrow is unpredictable. I also think the computers in the future will be smaller and lighter...just think of how far cell phones have come in the past few years. Technology is always changing and becoming faster and more intelligent. It is amazing to think of all of the information we have at our fingertips.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, new and improved computers are being developed all the time. They definitely seem to be getting faster. I remember when we got our first computer. That thing was so slow, plus we only had dial-up. There was a moderately higher-speed Internet service called Roadrunner at the time, but it was pretty expensive I think. Anyway, looking back it is hard to believe that I didn't mind dial-up. We have been spoiled with high-speed computers and Internet, and I think you are right in saying that it will only get faster because of our need for instant gratification.
